5. CREDIT SERVICES AUTHORISATION

Settled Funding Group is authorised under Credit Representative Number 496121 of YBR Aggregation Pty Ltd (Australian Credit Licence 390261) to engage in credit activities including arranging home loans, personal loans, business loans, and SMSF loans on behalf of clients. Our credit activities are subject to the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth), the National Credit Code, the Australian Consumer Law, responsible lending obligations, and the best interests duty.

Before providing credit assistance, we will provide you with a Credit Guide that sets out our identity, our credit licence authorisation, how we are remunerated, and our complaints procedure. We will also provide a Credit Proposal Disclosure Document prior to submitting an application on your behalf.

6. RESPONSIBLE LENDING AND BEST INTERESTS DUTY

We are required to act in your best interests when providing credit assistance in relation to home loans. This means we will take reasonable steps to understand your financial situation, requirements, and objectives, and recommend products that are not unsuitable for you. We will not recommend a credit product unless we have a reasonable basis for doing so.
